Software contracts address several important components of a solid maintenance program. The contract ensures that the customer’s maintenance staff has the additional backup resource to help answer technical questions quickly. All of the different disciplines are available as resources. The contracts offer emergency support in the event of major malfunction, and the software engineers can be mobilized to travel to a customer site within 24-32 hours.
Standard program options are available, as well as custom built programs which are designed to respond to customer-specific maintenance needs and schedules.
Standard software support packages are focused primarily on providing round-the-clock emergency response. In the event that there is little or no use of the contract during the support period, HK will work with you to provide other options in getting the greatest value from your contract.
Software Training
HK offers an array of training and refresher courses for all of its application software. These courses are designed specifically to meet the unique needs of your staff, which may include more advanced training courses. A qualified software engineer will work with your staff to provide hands-on training and tutoring for all software specific subjects.
On-Site Audit
Performing an on-site software audit addresses several concerns for the customer. The audit is designed to identify the obsolete hardware and software components in the current system, and will provide insight into the life span, vulnerability and flexibility of the system in the future. The audit presents HK Systems with a prime opportunity to discuss with the customer any upgrade and/or replacement options.
