Lean Leader - Continuous Improvement (New Berlin, Wisconsin)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the VP of Strategy and Business Development, the Lean Leader is responsible for executing upon HKs continuous improvement initiative using Lean methodologies and tools. The position will require an experienced Lean Leader, preferably with an engineered products and solutions company background. The position requires a person that is experienced and successful driving continuous improvement changes in both an office and manufacturing environment as well as working with all levels in an organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
" Provide leadership, mentoring and training to all levels of the organization on the use of Lean methodology and tools through the planning and execution of a corporate wide training plan.
" Development and execution of HKs continuous improvement communication plan to facilitate understanding and share successes.
" Identify, establish and propagate across the corporation common processes and best practices, including the use of Lean tools.
" Lead efforts to standardize HKs use of Lean methods and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of use and output.
"   Work with HKs various executive sponsors and process owners to identify and plan continuous improvement activities.
" Planning and facilitating the execution of various continuous improvement events targeted towards improving our cycle time, efficiency, quality and cost.
"   Drive post-event follow up and follow through to ensure progress and results achievement.
"    Work closely with HKs leadership team to set and measure continuous improvement goals.
" Work closely with plant leadership and their lean leaders in the development and execution of Lean plans.
        
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
" Bachelors Degree in a related field, a professional experiencing certification or the equivalent in relevant experience.
" Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the application of Lean philosophies, tools and techniques, including Value Steam Mapping, Kaizen events.
" Results based leadership style, applying a tenacity and passion for driving change.
" Strong group facilitation skills, able to drive decisions and get closure on recommendations and issues.
" Process minded, with experience in a variety of business process environments.
" Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to interact at various organizational levels.
" Willingness to travel as required.
        
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
" Experience driving change in an office environment, including sales and marketing, product development, project management and customer service functions.

Solution Consultant-Integrated Systems (New Berlin, Wisconsin)

The Solution Consultant provides technical support to the HK Systems systems sales organization. Generates proposals including technical and commercial details for integrated systems across a range of industries.

Will manage internal and external scope, costs and resources and deliver technical presentations to support sales efforts. Supporting sales, will participate in Bid/No Bid assessment, develop sales strategies, visit customers to determine requirements, and prepare cost analysis and customer demos.

Core requirements include: a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business degree with a technical emphasis is required. Minimum of 10 years experience in Automated Material Handling including: ASRS, AGVS, Conveying and Sortation and Control Systems. Ability to present a strong positive image, as well as good written and oral communications skills is imperative. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Fluency in Spanish required. Must be willing to travel internationally as required.

Sr. Project Software Engineer (New Berlin, Wisconsin)

Sr. Project Software Engineer

HK Systems Software Engineers perform programming, debugging, testing, documentation, start-up and training for material handling equipment management systems. Automated Material Handling Equipment Software Integration Experience is a plus.

These individuals work in a project environment to provide automated material handling systems to our customers, which include new and modernizations to existing systems. Tasks include in-house design, development and testing; field start-up and integration at our customers facilities.

HK Facility Services provides facility maintenance services for Supply Chain and automated material handling facilities across the country. We are currently seeking Building Maintenance Technicians to serve the custodial and housekeeping functions for our facility located in Mossville, IL.

BUILDING MAINENANCE TECHNICIANS
(Mossville, IL Area)

Our ideal candidate will have background in the following:

Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of custodial duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment; and perform related work as required. This position will also include basic support of the automated material handling system, Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) as needed. Knowledge and or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques and electrical / mechanical skills are essential.

Daily Job Responsibilities / Functions To Include, But Not Limited To:

General support of the Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS).

Vacuum, sweep, and mop floor and stairs.

Clean and sanitize restrooms.

Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.

Restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.

Dust and clean office desks and furniture.

Clean windowsills and windows.

Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner.

Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.

Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals.

Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.

General maintenance of grounds.

Other routine maintenance duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent, with a minimum of six months or more related experience.

Must have basic electrical / mechanical skills.

Requires basic computer skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Good client / customer service skills.

Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Ability to work effectively with a team.

Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
